Deviation Actions
Holy good God in Heaven, I got a DD! I can't even believe it. And of course, it WOULD happen the week that I had no internet access, so it took me a whole 5 days to realise it!!! Thank you SOOOOO much to each and every person who faved and commented, I'll try to get back to everyone but I had 776 messages when I logged in - that's a whole lot! Thanks so much to UnicornReality for the feature and to shelldevil for suggesting it. I've been on dA for four years, as a stock artist for two and a half, and this is my first DD ever - it's so cool!!! Thanks and thanks and thanks again!
Art Theft.
This morning I checked my notes here on deviantART, to find one labeled "important." Normally, notes that say "important" are from someone who wants to use my stock in some sort of time-sensitive project and hasn't actually looked at my guidelines to see that they are free to do so. This important message, however, has totally crashed my good mood for the day.
I'm sure I'm a little late on the uptake here, but there was a major art theft from what seems to be numerous deviants. One of the pieces stolen was alx234 (https://www.deviantart.com/alx234)'s Lil Bit Fishy. This amazing piece of work, posted in 2009, was sold without out the artist's permission on the site art4lov
Long Time, No Talk
I just realised my last entry was from 2009.
That's a long time ago.
I go through phases where I post a lot of stock, and then go through some dry spells. This happens with all my hobbies - writing, knitting, basically everything I've ever been really interested. Unlike those, though, photography is something I've been doing since I was a kid, so while it's been awhile since I've posted anything, I still feel like I've been doing it forever.
Part of the reason I go on hiatus is just lack of inspiration or opportunity - it always comes back eventually. Another part is that I find if I focus too hard on any one particular thing, I get sick o
Repost
*I'm reposting this entry because I am getting really tired of posting comments on people's work regarding my guidelines. Please note that you have one chance to change your guidelines before your deviation is reported - I'm not trying to be mean but it is still my art, and you need to go by my guidelines to use it.*
This has happened enough times that I feel the need to change one of my guidelines. If you've used my stock in the past and haven't recieved a comment from me regarding the credit in your artist's notes, disregard this. If you're new to using my stock, PLEASE pay attention to this.

Guidelines Change
This has happened enough times that I feel the need to change one of my guidelines. If you've used my stock in the past and haven't recieved a comment from me regarding the credit in your artist's notes, disregard this. If you're new to using my stock, PLEASE pay attention to this.
:bulletblue:Any usage of my stock must be credited to this account, Pink-Stock, in your Artist's Comments.:bulletblue:
This is a guideline found in most stock artists' rules, and I find that the actual credit is relaxed - the artist using the stock is basically free to credit someone however they wish. This is totally cool and I really appreciate having credit, b
